Install Automation Pack

  1. Open the Mirror Catalog page and find arcane-dnd5e-2014-automation in the “Arcane-owned modules” group.
  2. Click “Copy manifest URL”.
  3. In Foundry VTT’s “Configuration and Setup” → “Install Module” dialog, paste the URL into the “Manifest URL” field.
  4. Click “Install” and wait for the module to download.
  5. Enable the module in your world and confirm dependencies are active in the module settings.

The mirror is hosted on Aliyun OSS in mainland China, so installation never touches GitHub.

All recommended modules (midi-qol, DAE, Item Macro, Active Auras, ATL, Aura Effects, Times Up, Foundry VTT Actor Studio) are listed in the Mirror Catalog — install each one the same way with “Copy manifest URL”. The dnd5e system package is in the “System” group — note that systems install into Data/systems/, not Data/modules/.

Dependency check

After enabling the module, confirm the following:

  1. Install and enable the modules listed in relationships.recommends in module.json.
  2. Verify the dnd5e system version is 5.3.3.
  3. Verify the Foundry VTT version is at least 13.351.

Updates

The mirror publishes every version at an immutable, version-pinned URL, so Foundry’s “Update Module” dialog will not discover new versions on its own. To update, copy the new version’s manifest URL from the Mirror Catalog and repeat the install flow. Back up your world and module state before updating.
